Part A: Script

Your task is to write an imaginary dialogue between Equality 7-2521 and International 4-8818. Consider it to be an argument between characters over two important issues arising from Parts 2-5: Liberty 5-3000 and Equality’s discoveries. How would International react as Equality told him what he had discovered? Remember, you cannot use words like “I” or “he” or “she” in your dialogue.
Your final dialogue should be about two pages long.
Follow basic conventions for dialogue writing, as you would read in a play:

  •   Capitalize the character’s name
  •   Start each character’s speech on a new line; No quotation marks
    Don’t worry about writing stage directions or effects – just write the dialogue.
    You might review Equality and International’s argument over Equality’s tunnel from Part One to help you set an appropriate tone in your script. The script should be the same format as: U.S. Stage Play Format (BBC): Format is attached in the pdf file.

Part B: Reflection

Write a paragraph in which you reflect on any challenges you faced regarding vocabulary choices or your writing style. As a final challenge for your paragraph, assume it is not possible to use any words using “t” and “h” in combination (for example: a combination of letters like “the” would not be allowed). You will have to choose your words and phrases very carefully because your paragraph must still make logical and grammatical sense. It is possible! If you don’t believe me, reread my instructions for your assignment again.

Points to Remember

Your script should be approximately two pages long and follow script formatting

Your reflection should be written in well-organised paragraphs and include direct references to the story when necessary.
