Sheree Evans and Danielle McFarland had spent five years trying to build and launch a business management software for the health and wellness industry. After launching a management software and then a multi-sided booking platform, they had reached the point where they needed to make a significant change before they ran out of cash.
In this assignment you are asked to answer two questions based on the case before providing a recommendation on their cause of action.
You can do this assignment individually or in a group of up to four members.
Word limit: 2100 (-/+ 10%).
Questions
1.With their proposed plan of hiring two developers for six months:
a.how many bookings do they need to make each month to cover the cost of hiring the developers?
b.how many bookings do they need to cover their opportunity costs, and
c.how many bookings do they need to make to break-even (including their opportunity costs).
Make sure you explain how you made the calculations, including any assumptions that you have made (20% of marks).
2.Analyse Danielle and Sheree’s business model and provide a recommendation for how they could develop it further to provide greater value to their customers as well as to themselves as founders. Please include as part of your answer an updated business model canvas and justification for your recommendations (20% of marks).

In addition to answering these questions, the assignment should indicate what option you recommend. Draw on your knowledge from the course when preparing your answer (50% of marks).
